At Air, we believe your data belongs to you. We built Air with privacy as a core principle, not an afterthought. This policy explains how we handle your information and the choices you have.

Data We Collect

Air processes your voice commands and screen context locally on your device to perform actions. Here's what we collect:

  • Usage Analytics: Anonymous usage data to understand how Air is used and identify bugs or issues. This helps us improve the product.
  • Crash Reports: Technical information when something goes wrong, so we can fix it.
  • Account Information: Your email address if you create an account.

What We Don't Do

  • We do not train AI models on your data. Your voice commands, screen content, and personal information are never used to train our models.
  • We do not sell your data. Your information is never sold to third parties.
  • We do not share your data with advertisers or data brokers.

Zero Data Mode

If you prefer complete privacy, you can disable all analytics and telemetry in Air's settings. In Zero Data Mode, Air operates with absolutely no data sent to our servers. Your commands and actions stay entirely on your device.

Security

We take security seriously and implement industry-standard protections:

  • Encryption in Transit: All data transmitted between Air and our servers is encrypted using TLS 1.3.
  • Encryption at Rest: Any data stored on our servers is encrypted at rest using AES-256.
  • SOC 2 Compliance: We are currently in the process of obtaining SOC 2 Type II certification to demonstrate our commitment to security best practices.

Local Models (Coming Soon)

We're building support for local AI models that run entirely on your Mac. This will give you the full power of Air with zero cloud dependency—your data never leaves your device.

Data Retention

Analytics data is retained for 90 days to help us identify trends and issues. Crash reports are retained for 30 days. You can request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of your data
  • Export your data in a portable format
  • Opt out of analytics at any time
